He was knighted by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 1985 for his contributions to television broadcasting and conservation. He has inspired countless individuals to appreciate and protect the natural world. His legacy is a testament to the power of storytelling in fostering a deeper connection with our environment and encouraging global efforts to preserve it.
