Albert Einstein was one of the greatest geniuses in the history of science. His theories, or ideas, led to new ways of thinking about the universe.
We talked about the famous scientist Albert Einstein and the children commented on the things they remembered about him:
‘Albert Einstein was a famous scientist, who was born in Germany. He liked maths, science and space.’
‘He could be recognised by his white messy hair and moustache.’
Temple Grandin is a scientist, teacher, and author who helps people understand animals.
When she was a child, learning was sometimes hard, but she found ways to learn using pictures.
Temple also showed people that things like loud noises and busy places can feel scary for some.
She invented a special hugging machine to help people feel calm.
Temple teaches us that everyone thinks in different ways, and that’s something to celebrate!
