Walking/Cycling Home Alone
At Lime Tree, we aim to foster pupils’ independence, and quite a few of our Year 5 and 6 children walk/cycle home alone. For them to be able to do this the parent will need to fill out our Unescorted Travel Form and get prior agreement from the school. Once this has been completed and seen by the school the class teachers will release them at the end of the day.
If your child is attending an internal afterschool club and leaving the school premises later than normal an email giving extra consent will be needed to clubs@limetree.rbksch.org
If your child is attending an external company afterschool club then specific agreement will need to be made by the parent with the club direct.
Afterschool activities
The school hosts various after school clubs which are designed to enrich your child's learning.
Bookings for the Spring Term have now been confirmed. The clubs will run for the whole of the term.
Booking and payment for internal clubs is done via Parentpay. For external clubs this will be done direct via their own website.
IMPORTANT: When making the booking via parentpay please supply details of two emergency contacts, and any medical requirements within the notes section, prior to proceeding to payment.

Kingston Music Services
Instrumental and Vocal Tuition
Kingston Music Service (KMS) is the lead organisation for the Kingston Music Education Hub which is funded by Arts Council England. The service provides instrumental and vocal music lessons to young people in Kingston’s schools and music centres. We are very lucky at Fern Hill to be one of the schools KMS tutors teach at.
If you would like your child to learn an instrument, please contact KMS directly either by email at musicservice@kingston.gov.uk or by telephone on 020 8547 5050.
You can find out more about KMS and the services they provide on their website: https://www.kingston.gov.uk/info/200176/kingston_music_service
